We have been traveling to France for holidays for many years, starting with camping and then when our relatives opened a small campsite - Les Vigeres - we decided to establish a more permanent holiday base with two mobile homes.

Why Coeur De Lion?! Well, its French for “Lionheart” and Richard the Lionheart has a big association with the area. The nearby village of Le Chalard for example has an old church that was visited by Richard - one of several in the area - with even a short guided tour.  The village of Domme (about 60 miles south) is another popular tourist attraction for a day trip.
